“You can be angry with him. You can miss him. You can feel the loss of a life, the loss of hope in that relationship, the loss of part of yourself that feels taken. The loss of innocence, or maybe goodness. All these truths can exist at the same time - your heart will grow to hold them, and heal them”.
Survivor reflection
As you reach the end of this document, we invite you to pause and reflect.
Take a moment to stretch and breathe. Doddle, ground yourself, look out the window, stroke a pet. This is complex work, and it is heavy work. We are here together because we are committed to change- to dignity, to hope, to healing.
We’re pleased to have you with us.
We’ve put together a short survey to help us improve and continously develop this work. We will keep your information safe, and we won’t share it with anybody. We may use what you tell us in our public facing work.
